2011年1月19日，杭州第一世界大酒店榮膺“國家五星級旅游飯店”授牌慶典在酒店熱帶雨林中庭隆重舉行，各級領導、各行業主管部門領導以及酒店同行等200余位嘉賓共同出席了授牌慶典。
        蕭山區副區長方毅致賀詞說，他對杭州第一世界大酒店通過國家終評、順利實現五星級旅游飯店掛牌，表示熱烈祝賀并對酒店今后的發展寄予重望。宋城集團董事局主席黃巧靈表示，第一世界大酒店的順利通過五星級評定，這對宋城集團來說意味深遠，這是宋城集團在酒店產業板塊的零的突破，并賦予了第一世界大酒店新的發展目標和任務。    
        五星的評定揭開了第一世界大酒店發展的新篇章，酒店還將借助杭州打造國際會議目的地的大環境，繼續堅持“會議服務專家”的理念，為賓客提供更具特色、更具品質的五星級服務。
       
         On January 19th, 2011, the Hangzhou First World Hotel held an unveiling celebration for Five-Star Tourism Hotel in this hotel’s tropical forest atrium. More than 200 distinguished guests attended this celebration.
         The Deputy District Head of Xiaoshan District, Fangyi presented congratulations on the Hangzhou First World Hotel’s unveiling of five-star tourism hotel and his exceptions of this hotel. Huang Qiaoling, chairman of board of directors of Worldland Group, indicated that this big event had significant meaning for Worldland Group. This was Worldland Group’s breakthrough and the First World Hotel’s new goal.
         The five-star evaluation unveils a new chapter of the First World Hotel. This hotel will persist in offering guests more characteristic services with higher quality, and construct as an “expert serving for meetings” for international conference held in Hangzhou.
